Children's Ministry

Children are important to us at Faith. That is why we desire to invest in their future today with ministries that not only keep their interest, but ministries that point them to a personal relationship in Jesus Christ. Parents appreciate the spiritual values that we emphasize in our Children’s ministries.

Children's Church

Kindergarten through 3rd grade enjoys a time of Bible lessons and biblical values of obedience, forgiveness, responsibility during the Morning Worship. Your children begin the hour with their parents in the worship service and then are dismissed to Children’s Church before the pastor’s message begins.

AWANA

AWANA meets on Sunday evenings 5:00 to 7:00 pm, throughout the school year for ages 3 thru 6th grade.

The word AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and comes from a Bible verse in 2 Timothy 2:15:

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed , rightly dividing the Word of Truth."

AWANA is a wonderful tool for the kids in our church. It makes Scripture memorization fun and it is geared to the needs of our children. AWANA works! God uses this ministry to reach boys and girls for Christ. The three basic segments to the typical AWANA evening activities are: handbook (Scripture memory) time, game (fun) time, and council (Bible Story) time.
