AWANA
Welcome to Awana Clubs at Faith Baptist Church! Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. We are thrilled to have your child involved in our Awana program! We sincerely desire that this Club experience will be full of fun and learning for your child. The purpose of the Awana Clubs is to help each child know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and to teach them to serve Him.
The Awana program is designed to help your child learn more about the Bible and how to apply God’s word to their everyday lives. Awana is an excellent tool in preparing a child for personal development. The three main elements of a club night (Handbook Time, Council Time, and Game Time) all work together in forming a child's spiritual and social development.
At Faith Baptist of Andover, we have Cubbies, Sparks, and T&T Clubs. Please click on the above links to find out more about each of these clubs.
Kids earn treats by participating in Awana activities, memorizing Bible verses, being able to explain what they mean, and dressing up for theme nights. Clubbers also enjoy the opportunity to pie the Commander when they complete their book or when their name is drawn after completing sections of their books. At Faith our childrens relationship in Christ is very important to us and strengthened tremendously through the Awana program.
